Spotted Color

I hate the staying "never mix spots and stripes"...actually I hate most fashion "rules". I believe anything is possible if it's done in the right way. For this outfit, I started with my new sweater. I wanted to pair it with items that would make it pop because I didn't want the sweater to be the only interesting piece in my outfit. I added the stripe button up because the sweater was low and I didn't want to do a typical cami. It was bold enough to add detail but subtle enough to not distract from the sweater. I wore my orange coat because I felt  like the color went perfect with the yellow polka dots. I added the necklace because I love adding extra feminine pieces to a menswear inspired look.
