90s trends are making their way back around. One of my favorite 90s trends was the school girl look. This was popularized by the movie Clueless. For this outfit, I took that inspiration and modernized it.
Creating the Look:
This look started with the plaid skirt. Plaid was a huge trend in the 90s and this skirt took me back to that time. You can't have a school girl look without a button up so I added a navy and cream one. I also chose this button up because it brought out the navy and cream in the skirt. To bring out the maroon in the skirt, I added a maroon cardigan. Once I had on the cardigan, button up, and plaid skirt, I knew I had to add one more thing from the 90s. Ankle sock are a perfect touch to a 90s look. I wore my brown heel because the color goes well with the colors in the outfit. Another color that pairs well with the outfit's colors is yellow, so I added a yellow bag. To complete the look, I wore cateye shades.
