Please excuse me as I catch up on some post that are from the end of the winter...just know style is seasonless lol. One of favorite decades in fashion is the 70s. I love how the style was flamboyant but simple at the same time. I also enjoy the muted tones of the decade. Since I love this decade so much, you can image how happy I was to see the trends come back in fashion.

Creating the Look:
After seeing 70s inspired looks march around the streets of NYC, London, Milan, and Paris during fashion week, I was so inspired to put together a 70s outfit. This look started with the skirt. I love tone of the skirt, so I wanted the whole look to stay in that color range. Tie neck tops were big in the 70s, so I quickly choose a tie neck top to go with the skirt. Fur was another big trend in the 70s, so I paired the look with a faux fur vest. To go with the muted tones I wore olive heels. I gave the look a corky twist with my wasp emerald earrings. I completed the look with a perfectly brown purse and pink lips.
