I love to mix classic items that represent various decades. For this look, I mixed two of my favorite decades 50s and 70s.

Creating the Look:
This look started with the 50s style, pink skirt. Usually I wear this skirt with black and white, but this time I wanted something different. Also, I always pair the skirt with a tee, so I wanted to change that up too. Since my obsession with the 70s continues, I wanted a top that represented 70s trends. I didn't have that top so I made one out of a jacket. That idea definitely reminded me of the 70s because safari jackets as shirts were very popular during that time. To take the top to an even higher 70s level, I belted it.  I wanted to keep the look light so I wore white pumps. When I think safari, I think traveler so I added a vintage overnight bag as my purse. To go with that vintage feel, I tied a vintage scarf to the bag. I completed the look with cat eye shades and gold studs.
